NOOR è un viaggio alla ricerca di un respiro primordiale e dell'essenza del movimento e del suono al suo interno. Nel mezzo di un oscuro abisso, tre figure travestite danzano in un mondo illusorio di creature ibride. Perdono copertura dopo copertura, rivoltando la pelle delle cose, rivelando gradualmente la loro vera natura. "Noor", "luce" in arabo, deriva da "Dinur", il fiume di fuoco raffigurato nella visione del profeta Ezechiele, Libro di Ezechiele. Tamar Borer è coreografa, performer, insegnante di danza e terapista dell'immaginazione guidata. Le sue opere trattano temi sociali e filosofici. Dal 1988, Borer ha creato ed eseguito produzioni da solista, in duo e in ensemble con artisti interdisciplinari. È stata invitata ad esibirsi in tutto il mondo, come il Montpelier International Dance Festival, in Francia; Festival Cross Over, Italia; così come a Bonn, Hokkaido, Città del Messico e Oslo, tra gli altri. Accanto alle sue attività artistiche, conduce incontri e conferenze per potenziare le comunità soggiogate e maltrattate. Borer ha ricevuto numerosi premi e borse di studio per il suo lavoro, tra cui The Alber Gaubier Fund e OT Hachesed. Borer è supportata dall'Ufficio per l'Istruzione e la Cultura, Mifal Hapais, Comune di Tel Aviv.

Tom Klein è un violoncellista, compositore e artista del suono. Nel suo lavoro Klein incorpora improvvisazione, composizione contemporanea, produzione in studio e performance art. Si è esibito all'Israel Festival, al Mekudeshet Festival, al Pecha Kucha TLV, al Dance at Mazia, al festival Oooh e ha collaborato con il compositore Arik Shapira, l'artista Tamar Borer, la Lab Orchestra e il Notzar Theatre, tra gli altri. Nel 2015 Klein ha fondato il trio sperimentale GOG, con il quale ha pubblicato un album di debutto e diversi EP. Nel 2020, Klein ha fondato SEDEK, un locale musicale e studio a Gerusalemme gestito da un collettivo di musicisti e artisti volto a promuovere la scena sperimentale. Klein ha ottenuto diverse borse di studio dall'America-Israel Cultural Foundation, dal Mifal Hapais Council of the Arts e dalla Siday Fellowship for Contemporary Music.



NOOR is a journey to seek a primal breath, and the essence of movement and sound within it.
In the midst of a dark abyss, three disguised figures dance in an illusory world of hybrid creatures. They shed cover after cover, turning the skin of things inside out, gradually revealing their true nature. “Noor,” “light” in Arabic, is derived from “Dinur,” the river of fire depicted in the vision of the prophet Ezekiel, Book of Ezekiel. In 2020, a year that provokes anxiety and chaos, NOOR offers a reminder of the human need to elevate beyond fear, to carry and to care for each other. The full work consists of four parts, lasting about 45 minutes.

Tamar Borer is a choreographer, performance artist, dance teacher and guided imagination therapist. Her works deal with social and philosophical themes. Since 1988, Borer has created and performed solo, duet and ensemble productions with interdisciplinary artists. She has been invited to perform throughout the world, such as Montpelier International Dance Festival, France; Cross Over Festival, Italy; as well as in Bonn, Hokkaido, Mexico City, and Oslo, among others. Alongside her artistic activities, she conducts encounters and conferences to empower challenged and abused communities. Borer has received numerous prizes and scholarships for her work including The Alber Gaubier Fund and OT Hachesed. Borer is supported by the Office of Education and Culture, Mifal Hapais, Tel Aviv Municipality.
Tom Klein is a cellist, composer and sound artist. In his work Klein incorporates improvisation, contemporary composition, studio production and performance art. He has performed at the Israel Festival, Mekudeshet Festival, Pecha Kucha TLV, Dance at Mazia, Oooh festival, and has collaborated with composer Arik Shapira, performance artist Tamar Borer, the Lab Orchestra, and Notzar Theatre among others. In 2015, Klein founded the experimental trio GOG, with which he has released a debut album and several EP's. In 2020, Klein founded SEDEK, a music venue and studio in Jerusalem run by a collective of musicians and artists aimed at promoting the experimental scene. Klein has earned multiple scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, Mifal Hapais Council of the Arts, and the Siday Fellowship for Contemporary Music.
