FUTURA SCENA is a support project for young choreographers conceived by Proartis and carried out in collaboration with Hangartfest, Teatro Aenigma and the Indipendance Cultural Association.

 

Result among the winners of the REFRESH call ! The show of the Marches for the New Generations by the CMS Consorzio Marche Spettacolo, the project aims to enhance and support the production of a new contemporary dance work by a creative from the Marche under 35.

 

The choreographer is offered the opportunity to carry out a residency at the Maddalena Theater and to meet both with dance experts, throughout the creative process, and with the public, during the sharing planned at the end of the residency. The artist will be included in the Hangartfest program, sharing the stage with other international professionals, and will subsequently be able to continue promoting his work thanks to the promotional tools provided by the project partners.

 

The project takes place under the supervision of Gloria De Angeli and the coordination of Claudia Riccardi.

 

The first artist to be supported is Ottavia Catenacci , choreographer and dancer from Sant'Angelo in Vado, born in 1995, active both in Italy and in Northern Europe. He trained in contemporary dance at the School of the Ballet of Tuscany and deepened his study with artists such as Giorgio Rossi, Raffaella Giordano and Virgilio Sieni. Collaborate with Amalgamate Dance Company (NY). He studies visual arts at the Vilnius Art Academy where he creates the only Glory was at the fingertips that he presents in 2019 at the Showcase of the young author's dance in Ravenna. In the same year he graduated in Scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. He is currently studying at the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen.

 

His new work A BRIDGE / IN CASE YOU WILL FORGET is welcomed in residence in July 2020 and debuts at the 17th edition of Hangartfest on 5 September 2020.
