OCCHI DA MARZIANI is a program for passionate non-expert spectators, which develops over a three-year course of in-depth analysis and monitoring parallel to the creative path of the associated choreographer .

 

Participants in the program are willing to follow the associated artist during the three years of co-production, to share the experience of viewing and collective analysis of the show.

 

The project is curated by the critic Silvia Poletti who, for the three-year period 2018-2020, supported the group of Marziani in the vision and analysis of the debuts proposed by Marta Bevilacqua (Compagnia Arearea), the first associate choreographer of the project.

 

The alien vision of the spectators, pure and direct, free from conditioning, is what fills the program itself with meaning and which most interests the Festival. The path taken by the spectators is basically a way of deepening the knowledge of the creative process and the staging of the shows and, at the same time, it is a path, a testimony that becomes a monitoring of the path taken by the artist.

 

The results of the co-production period 2018-2020 are collected and published in the book The Choreographic Novel (Ephemeria 2022) with photos and writings by Marta Bevilacqua, Antonio Cioffi and Silvia Poletti.
