With much sadness we announce the passing of Silvia Poletti on January 5, 2024. Silvia was among the top dance and ballet critics in Italy, known and appreciated by all. We were linked to Silvia by a long collaboration and sincere friendship. She had been attending our festival for years and was the curator of the Occhi da Marziani project, which she had supervised from 2018 to 2022, leaving a very precious testimony in the book The Choreographic Novel (Ephemeria, 2022) dedicated to choreographer Marta Bevilacqua during the three-year co-production period at Hangartfest.
To her family we express closeness and condolences, tightening in a choral embrace with those who had loved her.
